The story follows a young boy named Qin Fen who possesses a unique power that allows him to control spirit blades, weapons made from spirits. Along with his friends, he enrols in Spirit Blade Academy to improve his skills and protect the world from evil spirits.
The series was first serialized on the internet in 2014 and later adapted into an animated series in 2016. It has been translated into multiple languages, including English, and gained popularity both domestically and internationally. The series is known for its well-choreographed fight scenes, unique characters, and its blending of traditional Chinese mythology and modern elements.
